Legendary scarf makes it big again

Lenny Kravitz gave his fans great joy and appeared on social media with his famous XXL scarf.
Lenny Kravitz (59) has shown in an Instagram post in an iconic look. In a photo by photographer Mia Ross, the singer can be seen wearing a dark brown XXL scarf with which he caused a sensation around a decade ago. He also wore a matching leather jacket, jeans and statement sunglasses. He also heralded his TikTok debut with the look. In one clip On the video platform, the musician walks down a street with the special accessory and explains to the camera: “Grab your big scarf, it’s the first day of autumn.”
“It’s a blanket!”
The large scarf was made famous by a 2012 photo in which paparazzi captured Kravitz on the street wearing the oversized accessory. The image then became an internet hit and was used for memes in which, among other things, the scarf was edited and made even larger.
In 2018, Kravitz explained in an interview with talk show host Jimmy Fallon (49) about the creation of the picture: “I live in the Bahamas, I’m used to hot weather and I had to go to the store, I wanted to buy some groceries and I thought, I throw a little scarf around me to protect my neck, and that’s the scarf I had.” Fallon burst out laughing and replied, “But Lenny, that’s not a scarf, that’s a blanket!”
Kravitz caused great enthusiasm with his current outfit homage. “I love this picture,” wrote model Tyra Banks (49) under the Instagram post. “My favorite scarf,” commented actor Evan Ross (35) and musician Questlove (52) emphasized: “I need it!”
