A cyclist died in a traffic accident at Lenbachplatz early Friday morning. The 25-year-old man from Munich was on the cycle path towards Maximiliansplatz shortly before six o’clock when he collided with a truck. The truck driver, a 55-year-old from the Pfaffenhofen district, was about to turn right onto Pacellistrasse.
The 25-year-old died from his injuries at the scene of the accident. The exact sequence of events is still being determined, an expert was already on site shortly after the accident.
