Lena Meyer-Landrut: ESC star is training to become a tattoo artist | Entertainment

ESC star Lena Meyer-Landrut has a striking tattoo on her upper arm and will soon be able to get others too.

Because: The singer is currently learning to tattoo. The 32-year-old revealed this in the SWR3 podcast “ 1 plus 1 – temporary friendship“ with author Giulia Becker (32, “Life is one of the hardest”).

“I’m currently doing a little training to become a tattoo artist,” says Lena.

The singer says that at the moment she can’t put any body jewelry under other people’s skin. But that will come later.

“Really?” asks Giulia Becker, almost a bit incredulous. “Tell me now: Is it serious?” “It’s really serious,” Lena replies. “Because I’m just in the mood. Because I think: That’s cool!”

Her podcast partner asks directly whether the singer sees her future “in this area”. But Lena’s fans can breathe a sigh of relief. Because she won’t give up her singing career in favor of a tattoo career.

“No, I’m more of a hobby girl,” explains Meyer Landrut. “I like having hobbies and then I think it’s cool that I can tattoo.”

Lena Meyer-Landrut is currently taking an online course. “I also had to apply with a drawing,” reveals the singer. “Then I was accepted, I can now watch all the videos, then you get a certificate and then you’re a tattoo artist.”

However, Giulia Becker doesn’t want that to cross her mind: “Huh? But you have to practice tattooing on pork scraps beforehand?” she asks Lena. “Yeah, sure,” she says. “But I’ve only just gotten to needle science now. This course alone takes hours.”

Of course, Lena will still practice with the right tattoo machine, says the singer. “However, today you no longer practice with pig skin, but with synthetic skin or fruit, for example bananas. Or people who don’t care.”

It’ll be interesting to see who will be walking around with a Lena tattoo soon…
