It shouldn’t be long before Lena Gercke becomes a mom for the second time. Shortly before that, she staged herself perfectly with her baby bump.
“We did it again,” writes Lena Gercke on Friday evening for a photo of herself in a completely black look. In the snapshot, the GNTM winner from 2006 is wearing a cleverly cut one-piece suit with various cut-outs that showcase her baby bump.
Under the picture she mentions that she did this baby bump shoot with the photographer Lina Tesch. She also published two more snapshots on her Instagram profile. The photos show Lena Gercke in unusual poses.
“When Lena was pregnant for the first time, I took some classic, intimate, black and white shots of her, so this time we wanted to create something completely different and much more creative and experimental,” explains the photographer of the pictures, which are unusual for a baby shoot.
“It felt super private and intimate”
The model was already pregnant in 2020 – with daughter Zoe. Even then, Lina Tesch took the photos of Lena Gercke. The 34-year-old showed herself in a black body, among other things. “It was my first pregnancy shoot ever and I really enjoyed it. It felt super private and intimate,” says Lina Tesch.
Lena Gercke also shared pictures with her fans on Instagram at the time. She herself wrote: “Three weeks ago … and still in store …” Behind the model put a heart emoji.
A month after Lena Gercke posted the pictures on Instagram, Baby Zoe saw the light of day. Her second child is also expected to be born soon. There were six months between the announcement of the pregnancy and the birth of daughter Zoe in 2020. Should the same thing happen with baby number two, the family could be four by December. Lena Gercke announced her pregnancy in July.
