Lenovo apparently wants to take the best of both worlds of mobile computing for a handheld called the Legion Go. The magazine Windows Report is on Images come that show detachable side panels with gamepad elements and a wide kickstand on the back of the device – elements that are strikingly reminiscent of the Nintendo Switch.
The basic concept, on the other hand, comes from the Steam Deck, namely a full-fledged portable PC with an integrated display – which in this case is supposed to run with Windows 11. Even a small touch surface on one of the detachable controllers looks like a corresponding element of the Steam Deck.

Lenovo hasn’t officially announced the handheld yet, but rumors have been around for a while. The images are presumably render graphics, which are common nowadays for the marketing of new products.

Windows Report does not provide any information about the source. It is conceivable that the images were provided by Lenovo itself – for example to test the public response.
It is noticeable that the Legion Go looks relatively thick on the graphics. That could mean a bigger battery than competing devices like the Steam Deck or the Rog Ally.
This could make sense in connection with the removable side parts and the kickstand: the tablet part is not held in the hand, but placed somewhere, you can then play with the Joy-Con.
Also unusual are two additional buttons on the back of the right detachable handle.
According to Windows Report, the Legion Go has an 8-inch touch display, which is a bit larger than the 7-inches found on the Nintendo Switch and Steam Deck. In everyday life you should clearly feel the difference.
AMD Phoenix should be provided as processors. On the one hand, these hybrid CPUs should offer powerful cores for gaming, for example, and on the other hand they should combine particularly economical cores for standard operation. There are no further details, and there are no indications of the price or the date either.
