Kiss’ last concert in Germany delights the audience

Dark costumes, platform boots and lots of make-up: Kiss rocks Cologne’s Lanxess Arena with their unmistakable style. It’s a special evening – the band will retire from show business.
The American hard rock band Kiss gave the last German concert of their “End of the Road” tour on Sunday evening. The legendary rockers said goodbye to their German fans with a spectacular live show in the sold-out Lanxess Arena in Cologne.
The approximately 16,000 spectators celebrated their performance enthusiastically. The two-hour show featured numerous hits from the band’s 50-year history, including “I Was Made for Lovin’ You” and “Rock and Roll All Nite”. Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer appeared as usual in dark costumes and high platform boots with made-up faces, the stage show was particularly impressive with numerous fireworks displays.
The band, which was founded in New York in 1973, claims to be on tour this year for the last time. The final performance of the “End of the Road” worldwide farewell tour is scheduled for December 2, 2023 at Madison Square Garden in New York.
