Titan Quest 2 is currently in the works at Munich developer Grimlore Games. If the name sounds familiar, you may have played Spellforce 3 real-time strategy. The game was created with federal funding and was already known in 2021 under the code name “Project Minerva”.

Titan Quest? What was that again?

Released for PC in 2006 and in direct competition with Diablo 2, Titan Quest is still one of the best classic hack and slashes to date. Ports for Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch followed in 2018.

That’s what it’s about: The ARPG revolves around the ancient cultures of Egypt, Greece and China and incorporates their mythology. As mighty titans seek to conquer Earth, it’s your job to stop them from doing just that.
