Be careful if you recently bought minced steaks in a Leclerc store. The retail company has been recalling a batch since Monday for suspected salmonella, reports Capital.
The batch concerned bears the number H221219 and was marketed under the brand “CDV Confolentaise des Viandes”, specifies the official site. Drink reminder. The steaks were sold in trays of two, five or sixteen steaks.
Risk of gastrointestinal disorders
The recalled steaks, in which traces of salmonella were discovered, were sold between December 22 and December 28 at Leclerc. Their expiry date (DLC) is 22/12/2022. They must be destroyed or can be returned to the store for reimbursement until January 31, 2023, the end date of the recall procedure.
As a reminder, salmonella can cause gastrointestinal disorders, diarrhea, vomiting and fever in humans. The incubation time after ingestion varies between 6 and 72 hours. It is recommended to consult a doctor in case of consumption of a suspect food.
