Inside.” If an insult opens the evening, then at least it is demonstratively gendered, as there must be so much mockery of the pirouettes of political correctness in Leander Haußmann’s new production at Berlin’s Rambazamba Theater. Later, an “intimacy coach” with the sensitivity of a heavyweight boxer will disrupt a love scene. It is logical that the question, which is so popular in woke circles, as to who can play whom, is cheerfully discussed and discussed: Is a non-hunchback allowed to play Shakespeare’s Richard III. or is this cultural appropriation and forbidden by identity politics?
