While the Shiba Inu community is eagerly awaiting the Shibarium beta, Shiba Inu lead developer Shytoshi Kusama says the release of a Layer 2 scaling solution may be imminent.
The core developer shared a link to the official Shibarium Telegram on Twitter while telling SHIB developer Trophias to “unlock the chat.”
Meanwhile, a Discord screenshot posted by “Shib Dream” reveals a quote from the main SHIB developer, “This room will be speechless until the Shibarium is released.”

In an earlier Twitter post, Kusama compared the Shibarium to a “pine tree,” which needs “water, sunlight and suitable soil,” and he added that “Pine trees will survive and thrive during the harshest of winters.”
Meanwhile, BONE, the layer 2 Shibarium gas token that will serve as a reward for validators and delegators, has continued to grow and was also listed by two new exchanges during the week by BingX on Singapore and DigiFinex in Seychelles.
