Lea van Acken always cuts a fine figure on red carpets. In an interview, she reveals her must-have of the season – and her fashion sins.

The Lübeck actress Lea van Acken (22, “Dark”) became known as a teenager with the title role in the literary film “The Diary of Anne Frank” (2016). Starting today, Tuesday (January 11th), she can be seen in the second season of the German-Danish drama and disaster series “Sløborn” (since 2020) as the rebellious Ella. ZDFneo will show three of the six episodes on January 11 and 12 at 8:15 p.m.

The must-have of the season

Even if she comes across as rather punk in the series, Lea van Acken likes to wear evening dresses on the red carpets. Currently, however, she likes a different style, as she reveals in a lifestyle interview with spot on news. “Two-piece suits – like blazers plus matching trousers” are the must-haves of the season for them. “This makes you super dressed and individually the pieces can be combined in many ways with jeans, shirts, slip dresses and the like,” explains the actress.

For them, however, there are hardly any “fashion no-gos”. “I don’t wear that many wild neon colors myself, but some of them look very good”. With “fashion sins” she is more likely to serve: “Oh, there were quite a few: Ed Hardy sweaters at school or top dresses with tights. After all, you have fun looking at old photos,” says van Acken, and hers too Reveals styling tip on a bad hair day. “Always have a hair tie with you – some hair can be tamed with a braid.”

The most important beauty tip

Above all, “an honest and open smile, humor and empathy” make people attractive to Lea van Acken. When asked about her most important beauty tip, the north German artist says “you feel good in your skin”. Specifically, this means for her “healthy nutrition, exercise and care without a lot of frills that suits you”.

However, the subject of nutrition is very individual. She likes to have “vegetable curry, vegan lasagna or colorful and creative salads”. On the other hand, she doesn’t know much about diets, says the 22-year-old. But she does the 16/8 intermittent fasting more often – “that is very good for me”. And when it comes to movement, the actress relies on various alternatives: “I do a lot of yoga, love dancing and go bouldering and rope climbing. A wild combination, but all in all it gives me a great balance,” says the star of the series.
