There were nationwide raids on climate activists from the group “Last Generation” on Wednesday. As here in Berlin, several properties in Hesse, Hamburg, Saxony-Anhalt, Saxony, Schleswig-Holstein and Bavaria were searched. The operation was under the leadership of the Bavarian State Criminal Police Office. According to the BLKA, two accounts were confiscated to secure assets and one asset was arrested. The Bavarian authorities announced that after numerous criminal complaints from the population, the Munich public prosecutor’s office had initiated investigations against seven suspects aged between 22 and 38. They are accused of forming or supporting a criminal organization. Nobody has been arrested so far.
