“Last Exit Schinkenstraße”: This is the new series by Heinz Strunk

What happens when two rocky pop musicians try their luck on the Ballermann? The new Heinz Strunk series “Last Exit Schinkenstraße” turns out to be a sangria bucket full of gags.

Things aren’t going well for trumpeter Torben Bruhn (Marc Hosemann) and saxophonist Peter Voss (Heinz Strunk). First, as the second-row fans of the cover combo Boarding Time, they have to perform songs like “Alarmstufe Rahmstufe” at the annual raw sausage forum. Then, after twenty years of loyal service, their smarmy bandleader (Charly Hübner) offers them a “bye,” in other words: he throws them out – check-out instead of boarding time.

At home with Bruhns, no one is allowed to find out about it. Mother Bruhn (Bettina Stucky) fries schnitzels as big as tennis rackets, mixes milkshakes so big that small children could drown in them, and keeps the money together. Their motto: Family is there to be there with the family. It would be difficult for her to cope with low tide in the cash register.

New series by Heinz Strunk: Off to Mallorca

So what to do? After unsuccessful attempts to get back into previous band formations, Peter Voss finally comes up with the saving idea: off to Mallorca, last exit Schinkenstraße.
