After two weeks of absence due to the broadcast of the France-South Africa football match, Koh Lanta made its big comeback this Tuesday, April 5, 2022 on TF1. On March 22, the episode ended on Stephanie’s departure, the Parisian croupier of the yellow team. But this departure was in fact only temporary… Following a medical problem, Jean Philippe had to resolve to leave the adventure. As required by the rules of the show, he was then replaced by the last candidate eliminated, in this case Stephanie. While she had gone in search of food with the Montpellier firefighter François, the latter found sugar cane. Happy with this discovery, Stéphanie then hastened to inform the other adventurers, preventing (voluntarily or not) François from reaping the laurels. Result: some of her comrades believed that she was at the origin of the discovery, which she did not particularly seek to deny. The ex-yellow then continued his “operation integration in the middle of the reds” by managing to make fire using a fire stone. Even if it means somewhat annoying Maxime, who visibly felt dispossessed of this task…
In her defense, the freshly (re) arrived candidate could not really show what she was capable of in the tests… the comfort test, the croupier drew the black ball which prevented her from playing the game with the other members of her team. The reds were indeed outnumbered by the yellows. A huge blow for the one who had already had the misfortune to be excluded from several events after this same draw.
At the time of the immunity test, Stéphanie had decided to believe in her luck: “We are 17, I was born on the 17th so everything smiles at me today, I draw my white ball” she told Denis Brogniart, sure that fate would finally spare her. However, it is still her who fired the black ball, once again dismissing her from the test. In total, the unlucky croupier has drawn the black ball five times since the start of the adventure… “I have no words left”, then commented Denis Brogniart, in shock. Far from reveling in the role of victim, the candidate who has more than one trick up her sleeve, even used this misadventure to negotiate her rescue with the girls on her team. Among other arguments, she advanced that she was in better physical shape than the others, thanks to the fact that she did not participate in the tests. Pure genius, which unfortunately was not enough for her. Stéphanie was eliminated after a new council. However, she has not lost everything: the twittos have indeed awarded her the title of “unluckiest candidate” in the history of the game.
