Police and emergency services came to the aid of a wheelchair user who had stopped in Landshut. The old man stood on the street for two hours on Thursday with his defective electric wheelchair and was completely soaked in the rain, as the Landshut police station announced on Friday. The wheelchair could not be pushed by hand, so the officers wrapped the man in emergency blankets to prevent further hypothermia. Together with the emergency services, the police took the helpless man and the wheelchair to his nursing home.
