Bayern LB has by far the most remuneration millionaires of the four major German state banks. That shows a survey by Bloomberg. With the exception of Nord LB, which is currently being renovated, the numbers are going up for all houses. The remuneration is driven by the pension plan. BayernLB produced 17 employees with total compensation of more than EUR 1 million in 2021, compared to 10 the year before. At LBBW there were eight, which corresponds to an increase of two people. Helaba – which only published its data last month – reported seven millionaires, one more than in 2020. And at Nord LB, one employee remained in this group of people. Figures for 2022 are not expected until later this year.
