From a sociological point of view, lakes and bodies of water are particularly interesting now, in the warm summer months: bathing areas and outdoor pools are among the few places where different social groups, who otherwise rarely come into contact with each other, meet on a comparatively equal footing and find mutual contact have to. And with this meeting conflicts inevitably arise.
