Lady Gaga was passed over in the Oscar nominations. On March 27, she will still be seen at the Academy Awards.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences caused a few surprises when it announced the Oscar nominations in early February. Many film fans had expected that Lady Gaga (35) would be nominated for “Best Actress” for her role in “House of Gucci”. While that wasn’t the case, the singer-actress will still be seen during the awards ceremony on March 27.

As the Academy has now announced, Lady Gaga is one of the stars who will appear on stage as presenters. Also announced in this role are Kevin Costner (67), Zoë Kravitz (33), Rosie Perez (57), Chris Rock (57) and Yoon Yeo-jeong (74). More celebrities will be announced at a later date. Meanwhile, Regina Hall (51), Amy Schumer (40) and Wanda Sykes (57) will host the 94th Academy Awards.

This is the big Oscar favorite

The big favorite in 2022 is “The Power of the Dog” with twelve nominations. The western drama can win an award for “Best Film” at the end of March. Also nominated for the production are Jane Campion (67) for Best Director, Kirsten Dunst (39) for Best Supporting Actress, Benedict Cumberbatch (45) for Best Actor and Jesse Plemons (33) and Kodi Smit-McPhee (25) for Best Actor best supporting actor.
