Not only the construction industry, but also publishers and record companies are struggling with hitherto unknown problems: seemingly endless delivery times, rapidly increasing raw material prices, bottlenecks.

For some, the enjoyment of culture begins even before the first word has been read, before the first note has been heard: the noble linen spine that caresses the fingers. Folios that creak so wonderfully. The crackling of a record’s protective cover, the popping when the needle hits the ground. Other people only care about the content. They hardly pay attention to such trivialities. The following applies to both groups: The noble design and the apparently self-evident availability of books and records is currently being questioned by the laws of the market.
