Refereeing controversies have multiplied in Ligue 1 in recent weeks and a first head will roll, that of the boss of referees Stéphane Lannoy, who will be fired by the FFF.

RMC reports that exchanges had become non-existent between the two men and that their relationship was more tense than ever. Stéphane Lannoy would also have complicated relations with ” a good part “ referees from Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 according to the radio. Finally, the quality of the courses organized by Stéphane Lannoy with referees was criticized, as was his proximity to several presidents of Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 clubs. For all these reasons, the French Football Federation will therefore stop the costs and put end of his collaboration with the boss of professional referees according to the aforementioned media.
