Kylie Jenner has received a special honor: She has a guest appearance in the “Treehouse of Horror” episode of “The Simpsons”.
Reality TV star and entrepreneur Kylie Jenner (26) was delighted to make a guest appearance in this year’s “Treehouse of Horror” episode of “The Simpsons”. “Variety” has a first clip released for the special episode of the 35th season. In “Treehouse of Horror XXXIV,” Bart is turned into an NFT – and Marge travels the blockchain to save her son.
Kylie Jenner, who speaks herself, can be seen alongside presenter Jimmy Fallon (49) and football player Rob Gronkowski (37) as the “Illuminati of the crypto universe” who help Marge find Bart. In the short clip, Jenner wears a black robe, red lipstick and her hair is pulled back in a bun. Before she sends Marge on her journey, she takes a selfie with her kissing lips.
Clueless celebrities
“We wrote her a few pages and I think it fits well. She was willing to make fun of herself,” explains showrunner Matt Selman (52). about Jenner’s guest appearance. The idea to address the NFT craze came from executive producer James L. Brooks (83). “Since we started writing the series, the craziness has been up and down and mostly down. But we just thought that all these celebrities who don’t really understand blockchain – who are running over each other for it promoting and doing business and getting rich from it – would be a fun area to include. Celebrities who may not know as much about how cryptocurrency works are the spokespeople for this incredibly complicated thing.”
The Simpsons episode airs on Sunday, November 5th. The Halloween episode will be shown after the actual day of the spooky festival, October 31st. However, according to Variety, it has often aired after Halloween because Fox usually overlaps with sports programming in the fall.
