Kylian will sign for Real “around July 23” … The Spanish press tries a new prophecy

And here we go again my Kyky. Every day (or almost), 20 Minutes takes stock of the latest advances and rumors more or less based on the future of Kylian Mbappé, whose relations with PSG follow the inverse curve of global warming. Departure to Real Madrid this summer or not? Spread the word, the Mbappometer is back.

Thursday, June 22

Do you want to know the results of the EuroMillions or know if your youngest will finally win his patent? Ask Paco Buyo. The former Real Madrid goalkeeper of the 80s and 90s now officiates in the hilarious show The Chiringuito.

And, not a little proud, he released in the night from Wednesday to Thursday what it is agreed to call across the Pyrenees a “bombazo”. The signing of Kylian Mbappé could be announced “around July 23”.

Inevitably, this “home info” was delivered with strong sound effects and an “Exclusiva” banner. Buyo even gives additional details:

  • “PSG lost a lot of money”
  • “He will negotiate with Real, it may have already started”
  • “PSG wants 200 million” (like what the Madrid club had offered last summer, without Paris not beating it)
  • “Real offers 120 million” (but, explains the former doorman, the sum could rise to 150 million)

The two teams therefore have a month to agree in order to stick to Paco Buyo’s prophecy. And also to convince Kylian Mbappé to join Madrid this summer, when he insisted that he wanted to play in Paris next season, in theory the last in the capital since the captain of the Blues did not wish to activate the option to extend until 2025.

Credibility: 0.5%. The Chiringuito already did the trick to us last year, when presenter Josep Pedrerol declared in early May 2022 that Kyky would sign for Real “the first week of July”. We know the rest.

Mbappometer: it smells a bit like panic in Spain. Jurisprudence invites us to tip the needle slightly towards Nasser.
