Friday marks the 30th anniversary of the death of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain. On Monday, “Back to Black”, the film biography about the British singer Amy Winehouse, who died in 2011, celebrates its world premiere; the film will also be released in cinemas in Germany on the following Thursday.
Both artists belong to the so-called Club 27: influential musicians who did not live to see their 28th birthday. Some music idols from the 60s and 70s also shared this fate with Cobain and Winehouse.
