Kurds killed in Paris: images of the arrest of the author of the shooting, William M., in a hairdressing salon

Friday, three people of Kurdish origin were killed in front of the Kurdish cultural center located at 16 rue d’Enghien, in the 10th arrondissement of Paris. The perpetrator of the attack continued on his way to a barber shop where he shot and injured three men.

Presented to an investigating judge on Monday

The shooter, of French nationality, was overpowered and disarmed by one of the victims in the barbershop before being arrested by the police in possession of a handgun and ammunition. A scene filmed by the establishment’s CCTV camera and disclosed by our colleagues at Parisian. The alleged killer can be seen entering a barber shop, gun in hand, and then being neutralized by various people in the back of the barber shop.

The alleged perpetrator of the attack, william m., had been transferred on Saturday to the psychiatric infirmary of the police headquarters, the doctor who examined him considering that his state of health was not compatible with police custody. But on Sunday, the suspect was released from the psychiatric infirmary and was taken back into custody. The 69-year-old man will be presented to an investigating judge on Monday during the day.
