The criminal police are looking for amateur actors to play victims or eyewitnesses for a large operational exercise in Neu-Ulm. As officials reported on Friday, an explosion will be simulated at a major event on April 30. The requirement is that several people were killed and many visitors were seriously injured. In addition to the police, emergency services will also take part in the large-scale exercise.
“Actors are now being sought for the scenario who, among other things, will act as injured people and witnesses according to role instructions and interact directly with the emergency services,” explained the police. If necessary, the actors should be made up to look like victims. They also received detailed role instructions. Amateurs should stick to this as much as possible and not become too creative in their performance: “Your own interpretations of the role or spontaneous improvisations are not necessary,” emphasized the police.
The police in Neu-Ulm will accept applications until April 12th (email: [email protected] or telephone 0731/8013-0). Participants must be at least 18 years old and must take part in an introduction beforehand.
