Kourtney Kardashian has opened up about her struggles with trying to have children. She and her partner Travis Barker tried artificial insemination – but it had side effects.
Kourtney Kardashian wants another baby. The reality TV actress and her musician fiancé Travis Barker have previously spoken out about resorting to the help of artificial insemination. Now Kardashian has opened up about the side effects she got from the treatment on her TV show “The Kardashians” on Hulu.
The appointments went terribly, she said in conversation with her mother Kris Jenner. “Travis and I want a baby, so my doctor saw us through IVF and it wasn’t exactly a great experience,” the 43-year-old said. The drugs would have made her depressed and even put her body into menopause. “I think it’s because I’m eating so healthily and being careful about what I’m putting into my body that it had the exact opposite effect and was acting as a contraceptive rather than helping us,” Kardashian said.

Jenner expressed surprise, especially since she didn’t see any signs of depression in her daughter. “I’m just feeling a little off. I’m very moody and hormonal. Half the time I’m a maniac,” explained Kourtney Kardashian. The comments in the social networks seem to be particularly stressful. “‘Kourtney is pregnant, Kourtney has gained so much weight.’ It’s so mean to comment on people when you have absolutely no idea what they’re going through,” she said.
Kourtney Kardashian has three children with ex-boyfriend Scott Disick: Mason, 12, Penelope, nine, and Reign, seven. Barker is also already a father, has children Landon, 18, and Alabma, 16, with his ex-wife Shanna Moakler. Kris Jenner tried to encourage her daughter. “You’re going to have a beautiful baby, probably in a year. Then we’ll be right here again,” she said. “God willing,” Kourtney Kardashian replied.
