New chart record for Udo Lindenberg and Apache 207

“Komet” was the super hit last year. And the success for the panic rocker and the rapper will continue in 2024.

Udo Lindenberg and Apache 207 are with their song “Komet” is back at the top of the charts – and have thus set a record. This week the song is at number four in the Official German Charts, as GfK Entertainment announced. With 43 weeks, it is now the song most frequently placed in the top 10 any times.

So far, “A Star (… that bears your name)” by DJ Ötzi & Nik P. had held this record for a long time with 42 top 10 weeks.

Last year, the panic rocker and the rapper who grew up in Ludwigshafen broke the record for the longest German-language song at the top of the charts with “Komet”.

The frontrunners

This week’s top spot in the single charts is secured by 6PM Records, Luciano & Hurts feat. Sira with the rap song “Wonderful Life”. Behind it is “Prada” by cassö, Raye & D-Block Europe in second place and “Vois sur ton chemin (Techno Mix)” by Bennett in third place.

Ikke Hipgold enters the album charts at the top with “Number One”. Behind them lies another newcomer with the album “Weapons Of Mass Seduction” by the group Lord Of The Lost. The Rolling Stones secured third place this week with “Hackney Diamonds”.
