In film, as in fashion, it’s not just about craftsmanship and creativity, but also about the talent to present yourself in the right light. The Berlin director Kolja Malik knows this, and he also tells the hero of his feature film “LasVegas”: “How do you want to market a collection if you can’t even market yourself?” the fashion designer Tristan is once asked. But Tristan is not interested in making a big appearance; he is reserved and has problems with his overpowering father. Then he meets the drag artist Sunny and an amour fou begins.
Kolja Malik knows that making a film is not just about making, but also about marketing: He is currently traveling with his team in Germany, every day they present their film in a different city. They will be in Munich on January 23rd and Ingolstadt on January 25th. At the Munich date he will be accompanied by his leading actors Tim-Fabian Hoffmann and Daniel Roth.
