The new season of Koh-Lanta landed on TF1 this Tuesday evening with two Catalans and an Audoise in the cast.
“I’m not Kylian Mbappé but I have something under the hood. There, I want to Zlatan everyone!” Barely arriving in the Philippines, Catalan Steve announced his ambitions as a “great strategist” as he defined himself.
But the defeat of his team in the immunity game placed the yellow camp under tension and Steve, in the hot seat. While strategies were being refined in preparation for the “advice”, Steve found an immunity necklace in the dense forest of his island. Necklaces with new powers this season. This did not protect him from anything but was intended to allow him to shelter two teammates.
Not at all sure of being saved by preserving two other adventurers, Steve attempted a bluff and announced to the team that he had found this necklace… which protected him, and him alone, from elimination.
A little lie which was to assure the 34-year-old from Perpignan that his teammates would direct their votes towards other adventurers.
While the latter had voted for the adventurer to be eliminated, Koh Lanta experienced its first twist of the season since Steve confessed everything before the counting. This Catalan who dreamed so much of Koh Lanta specified the powers of this necklace: it did not save him but allowed him to save two other adventurers. He then chose Sébastien and Pauline.
It then remained to discover the results of the yellow votes. And, disappointment for the Catalan, the majority did not believe his bluff and the majority voted against him.
“End of career, alas”, whispered the adventurer after his elimination which could not be completely definitive, twists and turns are often required in Koh Lanta. To be continued…
