Dramatic incident on the regional train: One person was seriously injured in a knife attack that occurred on the journey between Koblenz and Lahnstein am Rhein. The perpetrator was arrested.

On a regional train between Koblenz and Lahnstein am Rhein, a person was attacked with a knife and seriously injured on Monday afternoon. There is no danger to life, reports a police spokesman. The suspected attacker was arrested. There was initially no official information about the identity of the victim or the exact course of the crime.

Knife attack apparently after an argument

The “Bild” newspaper reports that the police were informed at 11:55 a.m. about an argument between two men on the train. According to police, “two males apparently got into an argument while driving.”
