Knives Out director Rian Johnson has fueled speculation that Daniel Craig is playing a queer role with detective Benoit Blanc.
Does Daniel Craig (54) play a queer character in “Knives Out” with detective Benoit Blanc? Director Rian Johnson (48) fueled the rumor mill with a statement last weekend at a press conference on the eagerly awaited sequel “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery”. When asked if a scene where Blanc appears to have a male lover means his character is queer, director Rian Johnson (48) replied, “Yes, he obviously is.”
Craig and his co-stars then burst out laughing.
