Garbsen – It’s about to start: Construction work on the “Klüterfeld” playground in the construction area of the same name in Frielingen is scheduled to start in mid-July. The selection and arrangement of the play equipment is based on the theme “Dragon Playground”. This was what children who the city had been involved in planning in the summer of 2021 wanted.
“The work is expected to be completed by the autumn holidays, after which additional planting will follow,” says Simon Bauermeister, head of the City Parks and Cemeteries department. A total of four standard trees are planted to provide additional shade, as well as numerous shrubs and ground covers. The city is investing around 145,000 euros in the construction project.
