Because the Kirchheim recycling center cannot open regularly due to staff being absent due to illness, there will be an interim solution from Monday, February 21st. Citizens of the municipality can hand in almost all waste fractions in normal household quantities free of charge on presentation of their identity card with proof of residence: Green waste can be handed in at the recycling center in Kirchheim, problem waste can be handed in at the poison truck, which stops regularly at the recycling center. However, the AFM company in Feldkirchen accepts all other recyclable materials. Excluded is everything that has not been accepted before, such as waste wood in category A IV and Ytong. Yellow bags will continue to be picked up every 14 days. Due to the understaffing of the recycling center, the municipal council decided to outsource the operation.
