The “Laughs instead of firecrackers” initiative launched by Kirchheim Mayor Maximilian Böltl together with radio presenter Thomas Gierling brought in 24,365.02 euros, most of which will benefit the child and adolescent psychiatric department at the Heckscher Clinic in Haar. The sum received significantly exceeds what is needed for the planned play therapy room at the Haar location. Now projects are to be implemented at the locations in Rosenheim, Wasserburg and Waldkraiburg that would not be financed by the health insurance companies. There should be performances by a mobile children’s theater with the Munich cultural area. “We are very happy about the impressive willingness to help, with which the affected families can now be helped a little better on their difficult path,” says Böltl.
