A woman was killed in a traffic accident involving three cars on federal highway 12. Ten other people were injured early Wednesday morning – two of them seriously, a police spokesman said.
According to the information, the cars collided on the road in the Lower Bavarian district of Rottal-Inn. A car got into the oncoming lane and collided with an oncoming minibus. There were seven people in the minibus. The vehicle skidded and collided with another car. A passenger in the car suffered fatal injuries.
It was initially unclear how exactly the accident happened. An expert was consulted for the investigation. The police blocked the road completely for several hours.
