After Prince Harry lists the US as his primary residence, King Charles is being pushed to take decisive action.

London – Prince Harry (39), the second born of British King Charles (75), has changed his official business documents in the United Kingdom and indicated that he no longer lives in Great Britain, it was announced yesterday (April 18). Companies House yesterday published documents for “Prince Henry Charles Albert David, Duke of Sussex” showing that his “new country/state of habitual residence” is now the US, a change compared to the previously covered United Kingdom.

The change signals a clear break with Great Britain. The papers reveal the exact date to be the day the keys were handed over after Harry and his wife Meghan Markle (42) were welcomed by Charles III. were ordered to vacate Frogmore Cottage, their residence in England. King Charles wanted to clear the building for other uses as part of austerity measures in the interests of a streamlined monarchy.

The first royal experts and representatives of the British press promptly came forward to put King Charles under pressure. Angela Levin writes on Twitter: “A document published yesterday about Harry says that his homeland is now America. Certainly he cannot demand full-time protection of the highest quality. He can still interfere in our media. He should also not be a Counselor of State who can stand in for the monarch if he is not available.”

King Charles has long taken precautions: Princess Anne and Prince Edward became official representatives

By law, councilors of state must have a residence in the UK, which Harry no longer has. Until 2022, the state councilors included Queen Camilla (76), Prince William (41), Prince Harry (39), Prince Andrew (64) and his older daughter Princess Beatrice (35).

However, as Harry, Andrew and Beatrice are not working royals, it is unlikely that they will ever be appointed as the king’s deputies, leaving just two people left. In order not to put the monarchy in a precarious situation, Princess Anne (72) and Prince Edward (60) were appointed as state councilors.

Royal author Phil Dampier said opposite The Sun: “Prince Harry probably still thought he could here [in Großbritannien] keep a base. Now he has shown that he accepts that his life lies in the USA.” Prince Harry’s representation regulation can only be achieved with a change in the law in Parliament. Charles has so far avoided this step. But the demands for this have become more explosive since the king was diagnosed with cancer, as he announced in February of this year.
