Since Tuesday you can now have a first look at the new and first banknotes with the portrait of King Charles III. catch.
The first British banknotes with the likeness of King Charles III (75) are there. The British monarch, who is currently being treated for cancer, held another audience at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday. This time the Governor of the Bank of England, Andrew Bailey, and his colleague Sarah John, Treasurer and Executive Director of the Bank of England, came to present the new banknotes.
