According to the Daily Mail, King Charles III. and Queen Camilla on Wednesday thousands of royal fans at Buckingham Palace for their first garden party since taking office. “These annual events are an opportunity to recognize and reward those who are making a positive impact in their communities,” it said in an Instagram post, which shows pictures of the traditional event. Some of the 500 “coronation champions” were among the invited guests. These are “volunteers chosen by the Royal Voluntary Service to celebrate this special year of coronation”.
