At a family celebration, newly crowned King Charles toasted his grandson Archie, who turned four that day.

King Charles III (74) allegedly toasted his grandson Archie’s birthday at a family celebration after the coronation. This betrayed an insider of the British “Daily Mail”. The son of Prince Harry (38) and Duchess Meghan (41) turned four on May 6 – the same day his grandfather was officially crowned king.

According to the newspaper, the newly crowned monarch thanked everyone who contributed to the success of the day. He is said to have raised a toast to the well-being of the children of his first-born son William (40): George (9), Charlotte (8) and Louis (5) were there.

Greetings to Archie – “Wherever He Is”

But he is also said to have included his absent grandchildren Lilibet (1) and Archie in his toast and explicitly wished Archie a happy birthday, “wherever he is”. “It was obviously a very nice moment,” the Daily Mail quoted the source as saying.

Archie’s father Harry was absent from the family celebration. After only 28 hours in England, he flew back to the US after the coronation to attend his son’s birthday party. For the fourth anniversary of her first child, Duchess Meghan is said to have organized a “modest birthday party”, reports the Irish “Sun”. The royal family did not officially comment on Archie’s birthday.

Charles disappointed by Harry’s hasty departure
