Kimmich, Lauterbach, all of us: life does not exist without error. How to deal with it? A few (hopefully correct) thoughts on modern error culture.

Two prominent positions last died in connection with the coronavirus. There was soccer player Joshua Kimmich, who initially said that he did not want to be vaccinated for the time being. So Kimmich became infected with the virus and then explained his mistake in a remarkable way on ZDF: “Of course, looking back, I would like to make the decision to vaccinate earlier, but at the time it was not possible for me.” There is also the German federal policy, which – on behalf of the new Minister of Health Karl Lauterbach (SPD) – at the end of October had declared that there would be no general compulsory vaccination, that was promised to the population. Status today, a few weeks later: puff cake.
