So far there have been Instagram posts and behind-the-scenes footage. But now Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian have made their relationship public with a joint appearance on the red carpet.
There are different stages of relationships in the celebrity world. There would be getting to know each other, which probably nobody except the two people themselves will notice. Then the first paparazzi shots arrive, letting the world know: Something is happening here. If the public pressure increases, an Instagram post usually follows, with which the actors want to say: Yes, we like each other, this is something special and we made it public ourselves.
The whole thing is crowned a few weeks or even months later with an appearance on the red carpet of an event. Dressed up and styled, people hold hands and demonstrate: we are the new power couple.

And the power couple of the hour is: Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian. After strictly following the above procedure, the entrepreneur and comedian attended the White House Correspondents Dinner in Washington DC on Saturday night. He in a dark suit with casual sneakers and sunglasses, she in a high-necked glitter dress by Balenciaga. “White house din din,” Kardashian captioned photos of her boyfriend and herself on Instagram.

The two first met at the Met Gala in September last year. Kardashian knew at the time that she would be hosting comedy show Saturday Night Live in a matter of weeks and told Davidson how excited she was. He spoke kindly to her, but then disappeared again. They didn’t exchange numbers.
Then on October 9, Kardashian starred on “SNL” and not only shone with her humor, but also with her acting talent. In a skit, she played alongside Davidson and had to kiss him. The world did not yet suspect that more would soon develop between the two until they were photographed together in an amusement park at the end of October.
It took a little longer for the reality TV actress to post the relationship on Instagram, but when it did, the series of pictures garnered more than six million likes. If anyone understands the publicity game, it’s Kim Kardashian.
