Given the title “Hansel & Greta & The Big Bad Witch”, no one is probably expecting a piece in which every nuance is immediately clear to you. But that doesn’t matter at all, because the effectiveness of this text lies in completely different spheres, lies in a huge range of associations, enriched with an often very strange, but always great sense of humor. The director Wilke Weermann is the perfect person to bring Kim de L’Horizon’s “Hansel & Greta” to the stage because he approaches the text completely fearlessly and takes its peculiarities as they come and then transforms them into a (up to… to convey a funny and magical evening into a few somewhat still moments. But he also has help: four very lively actresses.
