Anyone who already owns a house and an electric car will receive thousands of euros from the state to build a solar system. Minister Wissing is also selling this as a great success.
300 million euros for the energy and transport transition, that’s something. The Federal Ministry of Transport has just made this much money available through the state development bank KfW so that more solar power will soon flow from the roofs into the batteries of the electric cars below. In just one day, around 33,000 funding applications were approved – and the entire amount was gone. On average, each funding recipient now receives around 9,000 euros in cash from the state for a charging station in the garage and a photovoltaic system on the roof. And next year another 200 million euros will flow into this.
