keiyaA and Dawuna play at Haus der Kunst – Munich

KeiyaA combines many things in her music: her jazz training on the alto saxophone, influences from R’n’B and hip-hop, a powerful voice and lyrics about life as a black woman in the USA. Dawuna is similarly versatile: the songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Kenya experiments with electronic music, neo-soul and gospel – and sings about male fragility. On June 23rd, the two jacks of all trades can be seen one after the other in the Haus der Kunst – on the 24th even with a preliminary talk at 6 p.m.

Tune: KeiyaA & Dawuna, Friday, June 23 and Saturday, June 24, 8 p.m. each, West Gallery in the Haus der Kunst, Prinzenregentenstraße 1, www.hausderkunst.de
