It wasn’t just her outfit that was a hit: actress Kate Beckinsale caused a stir at a gala in Beverly Hills.
Wig or real?
The 50-year-old’s hair had already caused controversy in the past few days: On Tuesday, Kate Beckinsale appeared at the “Women in Hollywood” gala by “Elle” with long brown hair that she had tied in a large bun on her head. The very next day she came to another event with a new blonde bob.
After the quick transformation, some observers suspected that Beckinsale was wearing a blonde wig – but she has now brought it out again… On the red carpet Kate Beckinsale spoke to “Extra” on Thursday about her new hairstyle. “It’s nice to change it up sometimes,” the “Underworld” star explained. Also featured on Instagram the actress changed her look – and is celebrated by her followers: “Blonde looks so good on you,” it says in the comments, among other things.
Perhaps Beckinsale, who celebrated her breakthrough in the 2001 film “Pearl Harbor”, was inspired by one of her roles for her new look: in the 2021 film “Jolt” she wore a blonde wig that was the same Cut like her current bob had.

But it wasn’t just her hairstyle, her outfit was also an eye-catcher at the “Women in Entertainment” gala in Beverly Hills: On the red carpet, she presented a long-sleeved, white tweed mini dress with a bow at the neckline to go with her blonde waves. She combined the skimpy outfit with glittering, silver shoes with very high platform heels.
