Karlsfeld: Three accidents, nine injured – Dachau

Nine slightly injured and a total damage of 40,000 euros are the balance sheet from three traffic accidents on Tuesday in Karlsfeld: At around 7.45 a 37-year-old Karlsfelder turned his car from Krenmoosstraße to the left into Münchner Straße. He overlooked a 78-year-old who crossed the street at a pedestrian crossing at green light and touched the Karlsfeld woman. She was taken to the Schwabing Clinic with minor injuries. The cause of the accident is being investigated on suspicion of negligent bodily harm.

At lunchtime, an 82-year-old Karlsfelder drove his car on Nibelungenstraße in the direction of the roundabout on Bayernwerkstraße. Shortly before entering the roundabout, he overlooked an 81-year-old cyclist coming from the left who had the right of way on the bike path and collided with her. The Karlsfeld woman fell and was slightly injured.

At around 1:30 p.m., a 26-year-old driver drove on Münchner Straße in the direction of Dachau. For reasons that have not yet been clarified, the Grafinger missed a Dacia driver who was waiting at the traffic lights on Gartenstraße and crashed into the stationary vehicle with great force. The Dacia was then pushed onto a Suzuki, this onto an Opel, and a Mini and Mercedes were also damaged. In addition to the Grafinger, all vehicle drivers and two passengers were injured as a result of the collisions. The left lane was closed for about two and a half hours due to the rescue measures.
