What really happened to the missing Tengelmann billionaire Karl-Erivan Haub? Now the pressure is increasing on the Cologne public prosecutor’s office to take another closer look at the case.
According to the broadcaster, the RTL journalist Liv von Boetticher worked together with the criminal lawyer Julia of Dreden Complaint to the Cologne Public Prosecutor General’s Office against the actions of the public prosecutor’s office in the case of the missing Tengelmann billionaire Karl-Erivan Haub inserted.

One consequence of the affidavit was the declaration of death for Karl-Erivan Haub, also in May 2021 – and with it the billion-dollar deal within the family to settle the inheritance. Christian Haub now controls the company’s fortunes.
Karl-Erivan Haub has been missing since a ski trip on the Matterhorn in 2018 and was declared dead by the Cologne district court in May 2021. Research of the star and from RTL, however, point out that the former Tengelmann boss could still be alive. RTL reporter Liv von Boetticher had received indications that he was said to have been in Moscow at least temporarily in 2021. Rumors persist that the former Tengelmann boss may have deliberately caused his disappearance in Zermatt in order to start a new life in Russia.
