Kansas City Chiefs win Super Bowl – Sports

The Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl for the fourth time. The defending champion led by star quarterback Patrick Mahomes defeated the San Francisco 49ers in an exciting final of the National Football League on Sunday (local time) in Las Vegas with 25:22 after overtime.

Fired up by pop superstar Taylor Swift, the Chiefs overcame a seven-point deficit at halftime and also escaped into overtime shortly before the end. There, San Francisco scored its first points with a converted field goal by Jake Moody. But Kansas City countered, Mahomes decided the game with his second touchdown pass. The Chiefs had previously won the Vince Lombardi Trophy in 2023, 2020 and 1970. The 49ers have won five Super Bowls, most recently winning the NFL title in 1995.
