Kaley Cuoco Loves Motherhood: My Big Bang Baby! | Entertainment

Kaley Cuoco (38) became a worldwide star with the TV series “The Big Bang Theory”. Now she can be seen in the action film “Role Play”. She was pregnant during filming. Daughter Matilda was born on March 30, 2023 – and turned a lot of things upside down for Cuoco.

The actress told BILD: “I have always led an independent life for a long time. And now that my baby is here, everything looks completely different.”

Cuoco was in front of the camera as a child, filming with Hollywood icon Donald Sutherland (88). As a teenager she was considered a talented tennis player, today she is a passionate horse rider.

Cuoco was married twice. But it wasn’t until 2022 that she found happiness with partner Tom Pelphrey (41) – and became a mother last year.

You: “I love my job. Now I want my family to be with me always, even when I’m shooting. I don’t want to miss any moments. Nothing makes me happier.”

In “Big Bang Theory” Cuoco played waitress Penny, and in “Role Play” (in cinemas now) she plays a contract killer. Despite being pregnant, she filmed many of the fight scenes herself.

This new challenge was what originally attracted her to the project. Cuoco: “I had never done anything like that before.”

The shoot was uncomplicated. Also the pregnancy – only after that the pain came. “I had problems with my wrists and hands,” Cuoco says. “It felt like they were broken.”

Many mothers’ hands and wrists are overstrained from lifting and carrying the baby.

“Now everything is fine again,” says Cuoco. “So compared to what other mothers go through after giving birth, I can’t complain.”
