Sexual harassment: case against Terenzi dropped

The singer and ex-jungle king Marc Terenzi has been charged with allegations of sexual harassment of a teenager. The proceedings are discontinued subject to conditions, without an admission of guilt.
The proceedings against the singer and former RTL jungle king Marc Terenzi has been temporarily suspended because of allegations of sexual harassment of a 15-year-old. Judge Barbara Reusch from the Borna District Court emphasized that Terenzi had to strive for a perpetrator-victim settlement within three months. She emphasized that the hiring was done “without any acknowledgment of guilt.”
If the 45-year-old proves his efforts to the court, the proceedings will be stopped completely. According to the judge, the appointment was also made in order to spare the young person an interrogation in the district court.
According to Terenzi’s lawyer Andreas Hohnel, the proceedings were “about an alleged grab on the young person’s bottom.” The alleged victim is the daughter of one of the singer’s former partners. Terenzi had always rejected the accusation.
The Borna district court issued a penalty order of 50 daily rates of 20 euros against Terenzi in September. After he lodged an objection, the public hearing took place.

Terenzi said after the proceedings that his life had changed completely since the allegations and that he was now happy that the proceedings had been stopped. “We are very satisfied with the attitude. It is an acquittal without a verdict,” emphasized lawyer Hohnel.
In 2017, Terenzi appeared on the eleventh season of the RTL program “I’m a Star – Get Me Out of Here!” won.
